What does it mean to be a certified B Corp?

B Corp is a globally recognised certification given to organisations that can measure with full transparency and accountability its commitment to reinventing business by pursuing purpose and using business as a force for good.

The process to become a certified B Corp is thorough. Applicants are required to reach a benchmark score of over 80 while providing evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency.

Our B Corp certification recognises the high standards we uphold at KaurMaxwell, and it allows us to amplify our pursuit of changing law firm culture.


When did KaurMaxwell gain B Corp status?

We became a certified B Corp in May 2023 and at that time, KaurMaxwell was 1 of 6 regulated law firms that were certified B Corps. We’re proud to be part of a growing community of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose and using business as a force for good.
